'95 Honda del sol- upgrades!?

I only recently have become interested in upgrading my Del Sol :) I want to give it enough power to get uphill without droppin to 35 mph, some updated exterior work and custom lighting would be nice too :) I do not know much about cars. What should my first step be? What work should I look into getting done first? Any advise would help :)
 
Go to home Depot and look for a For Sale sign. Once sold look for a Mazda Miata to buy. Upgrade complete!
 
Start with a tune up, make sure the car is safe and running at its best then do you other things. At the bottom is a link to all things Del Sol, everything from maintenance to engine swaps.
