98 Caddy STS...most of the time cranks a really long time but always starts, and

runs great after, Any ideas? Car starts every time may take 10-15 seconds to crank. Runs great after initial warm-up. Check engine light comes on intermittently (on one day and off three) and never when I have time to check it.

Any help is appreciated...the car's not worth enough to take to Cadillac...
 
It's not the starter if it cranks over well. It's prob a bad sensor or maybe an ECU problem. If you can get the code read when the light is on, it would tell you.
 
Fuel pressure regulators leaking are a common problem, they cause flooding of the engine when turned off.
