Taurus is a horrible manufacturer of automatic pistols. They're made in South America! I've never held a 1911 taurus with parts that perfectly fit together. Imagine shaking a gun and having the barrel move around.... Ya, thats a real dependable gun. The Taurus revolvers seem to be ok but not the automatic pistols.

By the way you're 17 and you're not even allowed to buy a gun, even a bb gun.

whats the purpose? target shooting or self defence? i would go with the 45 it will stop someone in there tracks! either gun will do the trick but for strait up knock down power the 45 any day!
