hi all, im a 25 yr old female from brisbane who just loves motorbikes! i dont know all the ins and outs of the mechanics etc but i love them and ive always desperately wanted one! i think im attracted to a feeling of freedom you can get from riding one.
anyway, i almost have enough to get a decent second hand bike,just wondering what type to get as in make,model etc.. i guy i spoke to said a naked sportsbike 250 cc or maybe 600cc. im pretty tall so perhaps i can handle a 600..im slender tho if it fell over on me i probably couldnt get it off! what is a good bike to get for a girl that also has some "cred" as a cool bike? (i know, its not all about image). Im only interested in road bikes.
also with getting learning how to ride, do they supply the bike? or do i buy mine first and somehow get it there? am i likely to encounter sexist attitudes cos im a girl? i know its soo dangerous but if i pay them surely they'll teach me like anyone else? thanks everyone
