A monthly membership for ballys fitness?

I would like to sign up for ballys fitness. Its 30 dollars a month with NO contract. However I have heard bad stories about this place. People got a 1 year contract, and were charged for 3, etc.

Does anyone have experience with monthly payments? It says I have to contact them if I want to quit, 10 days before they charge me for the month. This doesnt seem like a bad deal to me but who knows.
 
SOUNDS GOOD TO ME..MY MOTHER DOES IT..SHE LOOKS GREAT! and they stick to there word on the contract!
