I was Christened Catholic as a child but the faith never stuck into adulthood and all of the religious people I know were born into it as I was.
My question is for those who grew up without religion but as an adult joined one. What made you make your choice? How did people around you react?
Please bear in mind that this question isn't designed to attract responses from people who like lecturing the non-religious. I'm just curious.
