are your suggestions, and...? What do you think of mine?
When they rebuild there should be a law that says homes in bush areas must have an air tight concrete room underground so that if you decide to stay and defend, you have somewhere you can go in a hurry that will withstand the fire.
It's airtight, if you had ventilation then the fire/smoke has somewhere to get in.
probably a tank with compressed oxygen or something, besides concrete is not a good conductor of heat, and you would only need to stay in there a few hours till the fire passed, the air that's already in there would be more than enough even without the oxygen tank.
I know what it's like, my parents own a piece of land that's a little under two acres, or is that hectares... enough land for two more houses, anyway, we'd always have issues with the council trying to get permission to burn off the long grass, even though we've done it a dozen times and we take all necessary safety precautions, councils are just full of idiots that have never worked a day in their lives, they think that intentionally burning off sounds dangerous, they'd rather run the risk of a bad fire later on, like I said, they're idiots.
