Ok i have a three year old male outdoor cat. we live in minnesota, and during the winter, it can be quite cold. mom is allergic to cats, so they have to stay outside. well, he started limping about three weeks ago. it seemed like it got better because he started stepping on ti again. But then there was another snowstorm and the next day he was limping. i think he froze it, but im not sure. some of his hair is gone off his foot, and his skin is a greyish color and there are black stpos on it about 4mm in diameter. We dont have much moneey, so i dont think we can bring im to the vet unless absolutly nessicary. do you think he wll have to get it amputated or just hava a cast. if he does have to have it amputated, how much money will that be?
