As one who lost a close relative, it has weighed heavy on my heart. This relative believed in a monotheistic God and followed a very moral way of life.
I discovered with some study, Jews believe one can be a Noahide. Yet, the question is, does one have to identify as such and the Judaic understanding of God to be acceptable?
In the same spirit, this relative religiously prayed to this monotheistic God and sought to live as best as they could in service to that conception of God.
I can not see how a just God would grant him a very unpleasant afterlife because he answered wrong on the theological question.
I thank all in advance.
