Zechariah said something about the man called the branch (not the whole tree) he would grow up out of his place (goin up to the spirit in the sky) and the counsel of peace would be between them both.
Right hand is a figure of speech as God has no actual hands or sides, front n back as he is spirit. It is said so that we might understand his position of importance. As I recall. Jesus does sit at the right hand of god, physically, but also more metaphysically. Figuratively, Jesus is God's right hand man, although he is also God himself. Its another way of saying, Jesus and God are one.
