Im 13 and heres the deal. So i tore my acl about a week ago in football and i had an MRI and my doctor told me i have a complete acl tear. but he said he doesnt want to do surgery on me because of my growth plates and he said if he did surgery it would mess them up. He said ill need to wait for a very long time before he can do surgery on me. And by the way im going to start basketball in about 4 weeks and he said im going for physical therapy for 3 times a week. and he'll give me a brace so i can play basketball. My question is if you have an acl tear dont you have to wait like a year?
