Acne 911..I've tried it ALL!!! No joke..?

So here's the deal.. I'm 22yrs old and Ive suffered from acne for the past 5years..we're not talking NORMAL acne either. Being a girl and all, I could tell you straight up that it's the worst it's ever been. I've wasted so much money on products I don't know what to believe anymore!!

Pro-activ = LAME..that was a total waste of a combined $140 and it even bleached some of my shirts! Imagine what it does to your face! And following all those steps..7 different products..whoa.

Tea tree oil= worked for about hmm..1 week then made it even worse!

Clearasil= does nothing...just like all the other store brand acne stuff.

Zapyzit...Tri-Cyclin birth control...shall I keep going?

Please...anyone..if you have any advice for me let it flow!! I'm sick and tired of wasting my money..and it's so embarassing I don't even want to leave the house half the time. I hate when people complain about their "acne".. when their skin is nearly flawless! For me..my acne is sometimes on my chest, back..and my face oooooohhhh the dreaded face..they're just about pea sized under my skin! Nothing even phases the ones that go along my neck/chin. Ahhhhhhh is there any hope!!!

I used to have the same problem (Face, Back, Chest) from middle school into the middle of high school. I went to the dermatologist and tried all the creams, like yourself. Eventually, the derm. told me that my acne was bad enough and so she gave me Acutane. Four months later, my skin was clear.I'm 22yrs old now have not had acne since. So essentially, go to the dermatologist and see what they have to say.

I would reccomend drinking at least 1.5 litres of water a day! I don't have awful acne. But some around my mouth/cheeks. It helps to clear your skin.
Also I would reccomend a tiny amount of bio oil twice a day as it evens out skin tone, fades acne scars and keeps your skin hydrated (if the skin doesn't feel dry its not likely to produce copius amounts of oil that cause acne)

Even though it feels wrong putting moisturiser on your face (because its oil prone) it can actually help improve skin. Personally I use a cleansing wipe everyday, exfoliate every other day and moisturise every other day. My skin isn't in bad shape although I have some scars from where I popped zits with a needle. YES a needle, at school I got white heads and would use a pin head to pop them. VERY bad idea as now they are purple scars.

Sometimes dairy can trigger bad reactions in skin (i have eczema) so watch your diet, keeping a food diary for a few weeks might be a good idea and recording the condition of your skin.

go to the dermatologist. and tell them that you want a chemical face peel, and they can do that for you, and give you medication to clear up your acne. i had TERRIBLE acne, now after using that i'm pretty clear. they can also give you cortisone shots in certain pimples and they go away the next day no JOKE. good luck. and go to a dermatologist!
