Advice for being worried on your first cruise?

i might be going on a 7 day cruise soon with my boyfriend and his family to the bahamas. im not a big fan of boats, because i worry to much about weather, or sea sickness. so any kind of advice, tips, or just plain knowledge about cruises would help. because i want to get my fear out of the way and just go. oh and, its a carnival pride cruise.

Cruise ships are huge, so getting sea sick isn't common. But just in case you could take some Bonine or Dramamine for sea sickness, in case you feel it coming on. Nothing to fear. Just enjoy the trip.
