Performance aftermarket specialist aFe have just launched a new exhaust for the BMW 335i, the Mach Force-XP, that should have M owners checking their rear views. The 2.75-inch stainless steel exhaust offers a freer flowing exhaust, improving the car’s power and torque, as well as making it sound a bit meaner. The aftermarket company claims that recent bench tests have yielded an 11 horsepower boost for the 3.0-liter turbocharged engine, as well as a bump of 10 pound-feet of torque, bringing the 335i output up to 311 and 310 respectively.

The exhaust will be available for a retail price of $1195 and is in stores now. Read the full aFe press release below.

Corona, Ca…advanced FLOW engineering (aFe), an industry leader in performance intakes, filters, manifolds and exhaust systems is pleased to announce the release of their new Mach Force-XP exhaust for the popular 2007-09 BMW 335i with L6-4.3.0L motor part numbers 49-36301. 49-36301 is constructed out of huge, mandrel bent, 2.75” polished 304 stainless steel and utilize weldedon, bayonet style hangers and band style clamps for a complete installation that won’t shift under high heat or vibration conditions. This system uses a unique crossover pipe to equalize pressure and tune the exhaust pulses for greater flow and improved sound. This system produces an aggressive on-throttle sound without the mid-rpm resonance found in other systems. To complete this system, polished 304 dual stainless steel welded on tips provides an awesome look out the back of the 335i. As an added value, aFe includes a PRO 5R performance air filter with the purchase of this exhaust system.

In recent testing, part number 49-36301 produced 11hp and 10lbs. x ft. of torque vs. the factory system.

Part Number 49-36301 retails for $1195.00 and is available in stores now.
