Hi
I have a year 2000 Honda Accord VTEC 2.0i engine F20B6 petrol (not diesel) which has approx. 100k miles on the clock. There's something wrong with the engine set up, miles per gallon are off, there is little power from mid-range revs, for example doing 60mph then trying to accelerate, the engine feels throttled, and doesn't change up or down easily (steptronic auto box). Earlier this year it burnt out the pre-cat lambda sensor, which has now been replaced, not change to the engine running.
My MOT garage I use suggested it might be either a blocked cat or a faulty airflow sensor.
I have a replacement cat on order, but can't find a replacement airflow sensor listed anywhere for an Accord petrol, they all seem to be for diesels.
Can anyone shed any light on what else it might be, or where I can locate the airflow sensor and get a (cheap) replacement ?
It passes all fault codes on the engine computer, but something is wrong.
Cheers
Peter
