I'm taking a flight, leaving on Continental Airlines and returning on American Airlines. I'm trying to make sense of their huge list of baggage guidelines. I have one bag with clothes and my laptop that fits in the overhead (regulation size) and a small bag (size of a camera bag) that I will carry over my shoulder. It has my Nintendo DS, my anxiety medicine, and some DVDs. Will I be able to take both on both airlines without any trouble? I was hoping I could just put the small bag under my seat. Also, does carry on get charged a fee? This is my first time flying and I really want to be prepared!
