Alarm error on Verizon phone?

So the last few days I have been trying to take a lunch time nap, and I have been setting an alarm for 12:45 PM to wake me up before I have to return to work at 1:00 PM. The alarm didn't go off though. Later at night when I was getting ready to go to bed the alarm suddenly goes off at 12:45 AM (past midnight) even though it still says it was set for 12:45 PM. Any ideas? The phone is a Verizon Chocolate.

Try taking the battery out of the phone and leave it out for a minute before you put it back in.. Then test the alarm a couple times.. If it doesn't work, take it into Verizon
