All my questions are about my Chihuahua?

Bella is only still a puppy, and shes just barley under a year. I'm pupy training her to pee on puppy pads, but I still go to school in the day so i cant watch her all the time. I let her sleep in my bed at night, so when i leave for school should i get her off if she isnt already awake. I've read alot of website blogs telling me small dogs can break alot of things from jumping for high places, so is my bed considered a high place for her? I've also read that chihuahuas have a chance of hypoglycemia. I read everything on how to prevent it too. Usually I put food in her bowl in the morning, and then she gets half a cup around three when i get home, and depending on what all she did after her lunch depends on if i give her a half of a cup or a whole cup. But that also doesnt mention the many treats and bites off of mommys plate that she consumes through the afternoon. So am i feeding her enough? and when i leave should i add some sugar to her water just in case something happens? She's like my little girl, i spoil her with everything up to the weeekly painting her nails, and i just dont want to leave her unattended, and her getting hurt. So any suggestions would be great...
