All Verizon Wireless Customers...?

If you have a basic contract with Verizon Wireless and you decide you want to get a new phone (but stay on the same contract) will they force you to pay that cancellation fee and start a new contract? Or can they just switch out the phones (and I of course, pay for the new one)?
Ok, so how much would an LG Voyager be if I bought just the phone and changed my sim card?

No; you just have to buy the phone at full price. They won't give you a discount until you've fulfilled your contract under their "New Every Two" program.
