Alltel - Can't access my voicemail?

Today I tried to check my voicemail, and when I called all I got was the busy tone (beep beep beep beep). So i tried calling my cell phone from my house phone and when I got to the voicemail, instead of playing my usual recorded greeting, it said "the wireless customer you are trying to reach on the alltel network is unavailable at this time."

So what gives? Is the voicemail system messed up due to the Alltel/Verizon merger? Is there any way to fix this?

i also have alltel and all day i could not send text messeges, it keeps saying network error so maybe something was up with the whole system today
