Alpine head-unit car audio?

If i have an IDA-X200 headunit with a detachable faceplate do you think I can get a IDA-X100 faceplate off ebay and that it would work. If that works it would be a lot cheaper than just buying the IDA-X100

dude alpine head units sucks and their not all that their made specifically for eletronics like ipods and ect. get a pioneer better sound quality deck wise!!! but to anwser your question yes you can get one from ebay with no doubt. and what the other guy said it look at the ratings on ebay i got a whole system off of ebay new for alot less ebay is a trusted site you got my word make sure te ratings are 98 or higher

In my experience, used audio equip should only be purchased when you can see it firsthand. I got ripped off a few times. Go to Alpines web site, and see what they say. Also check out crutchfield.com. They will answer all your questions, and you don't need to buy anything from them.
