Why depressingly, its a good thing. To be serious here the people who want to buy to support the devs will do it anyway and those who only pirate would never buy it even if it was impossible to pirate.
 
now I don't need to wait for my birthday to buy the game anymore lol thanks to whoever was generous enough to share it on IGG

seriously tho, when i want to support a game i support it and am not swayed by the idea of pirating the game, i don't even look to see if someone already shared it... i just buy it. i'm waiting for ozmafia to go on sale because i'm not paying that much for a visual novel, still don't have an uncontrollable urge to download it just because i can ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This isn't true. I first pirated Amnesia: Memories to be able to play it, but one day it went on sale and I bought it through Steam, so I can say in my case that I will pirate the game but I will also buy it

That is the point, it doesn't really matter if you buy it or pirate first and then buy because you still support the devs, while the people who dont want to buy it would not buy it even if it was impossible to pirate. So what I m trying to say is it for the developer it doesn't matter if it gets pirated right away or a bit later since it wont really change anything.
 
Just curious. Did Dandelion and Nameless ever had a 50% off sale before on steam?
I can't really afford Ozmafia at the moment maybe unless it has more than 15% off discount than it has right now on steam (as low as USD$20 perhaps). If Dandelion and Nameless had 50% discounts before, I was hoping that the chances of Ozmafia would also as well (one day). I know that Amnesia had sales where it can go as low as USD$2 but I doubt it for Ozmafia.

I can only half-heartedly agree with the above statements. I ended up buying Hustle Cat because I got tired of waiting for a DL link to show up. (Link showed up two days after my purchase but c'est la vie) I would have ended up buying Ozmafia too because many people are talking about it and it seems interesting but I'm not going to shell out $30 when a kind anon has shared it with the poorer folks. I'd rather save and spend the money for something else instead. I barely have the money to support myself, why should I go out of my way to support someone else?
 
Someone needs to translate Otome games with h-scenes. This one would be good https://vndb.org/v12852 I would even pay for it!

No i don't remember Dandelion and nameless ever getting big discounts, and i doubt they ever will, i guess it depends on the publishers of game? Honestly it surprises me to see Amnesia being sold for such a low price, it is pretty awesome. For Ozmafia i think big sales is possible in the far future, just look at their other games one of them is 65% off.

I have played that game and trust me, you DON'T want to play it. The first 1 hour or so is awesome but then the story becomes completely random and weird. Just google "jooubachi no oubou hakuoh route review tumblr" and go to the first result...you'll see how nonsensical this game is.
