Am I being unreasonable asking my Husband to help?

Hello,
I would like some honest answers please!!
I am a SAHM of a 2 1/2 yr old, and a 6 year old who goes to school.
My Husband leaves for work at 7.30 am and arrives home just before 4.00pm. He absolutley loves his job and is doing really well at it.
I have asked him to do 3 things for me which would make my life a whole lot easier.
1) Pick up dog mess from garden
2) Change the bin as and when it needs emptying
3) Don't leave wet towels or smelly socks strewn about.
The problem is, he just doesn't do it. AT ALL.
Everytime I ask him to do one of these things, the answer I get is "why can't you do it" or "stop moaning".
I do EVERYTHING else!! I take really good care of my kids and the home. I admit I am not the tidiest of people, but I am clean and I cook healthy meals FROM SCRATCH.
I should mention that my Husband will cook if the meal takes inder 1/2 hour to cook, but he wants to do this, he enjoys it.
Am I being unreasonable?? Because to be perfectly honest I am ready to wring his neck ;0(
