Am I getting ripped off if i pay $600 dollars for 2 !2" alpine type r subs, a 1000w alpine amp, a l fared 500 rms capacitor, and 0 gauge wires? Im a girl with no idea how this stuff works. My friend is trying to hook me up with this. Go for it?

Wow wish I could get that deal subs average 150 each amp is about 329 capacitor and the wiring is well over 100$ so yes its a good deal especially if he hooks it up for u at that price just tell him u love him just kidding but good deal the prices I gave r for new products so if used and in good condition 500 max

That's not a bad deal at all. I'd do it. But when you install the system don't put in the capacitor b/c it's just a waste of time and money and it makes your alternator work harder than it has to. Go for it if your friend will also install it.

not a bad deal. the subs and amp alone will cost around $650 brand new. and 0 gauge wire would usually run another 50-60 dollars maybe more. so its a fair price for the stuff. I would lose the cap though, they do more harm than good for a sound system. should be a nice sounding system!!

I think it's an alright price. I paid about $460 for two 10" titanium subs and a 1200 watt amp, no capacitor.
