am i in the wrong for not wanting to play football sunday?

hi everyone i quit my football early this year even though it was my first year because i hated the team and my manager rang up the other day and occurding to my dad he begged me to play but because i hate football now i said no but my parents keep asking me EVERY DAY for like 2 weeks and because i said i got called a sad bastard and more what i wont say am i in the wrong?
