Am I messed up because I laugh at people who cry?

When I see someoen crying or upset, I don't care. i stare and look, only in amazement that someone can be that weak, lacking self-control. When someone tells me they like me, or have feelings for me, or 'care' about me. I dont feel a thing. I just sit there, with a dumb-founded look. I don't know why. When people die, i've recently lost someone, a girl that i did love for a long time.. I didn't feel anything. Everyone was crying around me and I just stood there, and then i went home and did some reading. When people show me affection, like trying to kiss or hug me, i pull away. It makes me very uncomfortable. i can laugh, and have fun but the moment anybody gets all smushy and you know, shows emotion with me, I pull away.

Is this normal?

I think its funny sometimes. When people die, like for example someone falling off a cliff 'by accident'
or when someone is being hit my a car.. Also, its amazingly enetertaining, how easy it is to lie to people I know. I've truly mastered the art of lying throughout the years. These people believe anything.

actually, yes. humans are biologically programmed to pity or share the pain of other humans, this is a form of ignorance.

people who don't are called psychopaths (or sociapaths?), psychopathy is the total absence of emotion, a form of mental retardation. i find i'm the same, i real don't fell any intense emotions or family love, and couldn't imagine anything other than physical pain that i would truly find painful.

so technically yes this is a retardation or 'messed up'. but as long as you can lie and pretend to be a 'good person' you can function in society normally and you just miss out on all that pain that others feel.

your not messed up.. your perfectly normal
but you need to take in consideration everyone is not as strong as you
also how would you feel if somebody was laughing at you?

Yes you are very messed up!! When you die I hope someone records it and puts it on YouTube for the whole world to laugh at, since that's probably what you want.

Well, honestly, I think you need to seek counseling, to determine why you are unable to feel emotion. That's my best suggestion. Good luck!
