...with a man I met recently? I've recently met someone at a gathering. We have common goals. He's a cop and I'm in finance. He's not very highly educated and I hold a PhD. He's wonderful towards me and my little girl. He's funny, sweet and sensitive most of all, he's down to earth and simple. Because of my past my parents are going to think that I'm rushing into another relationship. I've been spending a great deal of time thinking about it and more importantly thinking about my little one as she needs to come first regardless of my feelings. She is my #1 priority. My parents are extremely conservative and I've had screaming matches for the freedom to go out on a date since my daughter was born. 2 years ago. I know this is the guy I want for the father of my little one and the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. He's asked me to marry him and move in with him. How do I even begin to talk to my parents about it? Any suggestions would be great.
