For those of you who have read Neil Gaiman's "American Gods," I have a paper coming up and this is my topic. I'm not asking anyone to do the paper for me. I have already prepared my thesis and outline. I'm just curious to see what are the other comments out there and perhaps explore them and give them a little thought. Thanks.

I like ChiChi's answer.
See my sources for some more ideas, it's nice to see someone looking for other ideas in addition to their own, all too rare from what I've seen at Yahoo Answers.
I thought "American Gods" was good but I liked "The Anansi Boys" better & "The Sandman" way better. Try reading them & "Neverwhere" if you liked "American Gods."
