AMERICAN IDOL: how many votes move to the Hollywood level?

I'm confused. I thought the contestants, in order to move on to the Hollywood level, they had to get at least 3 yes votes out of the four judges. Last night, Simon gave a contestant a yes vote--after they had already gotten 2 no votes--and moved them on to the next level. Is it only two votes the contestants need or does Simon's vote just carry more weight?
 
No haha Simon's vote does not carry more weight. The contestants just need 2 votes now that they have the new judge. It also depends on how good or bad the person is.

That's what I'm wondering, too. What if two say yes and two say no, like what happened on last night's episode? I'm not sure.
