Over the summer I have to pick a political story in the newspaper to follow for my politics class. I was wondering what you guys thought, as I am stuck. It has to be British politics, and I thought that I would maybe do something on immigration as that seems to be developing a lot and I find it interesting but I am not sure. It has to be something that will not fizzle out in the next week... but will last until the end of August because I have to make a diary of newspaper cuttings about it and prepare a 5min presentation on it and I want to do well. Thanks, any ideas are welcome :)
I wasn't actually asking you whether you thought that immigration was interesting, I was asking whether you'd give me any suggestions...

Immigration is a great one. Please feel free to follow all the immigration news at "I support Arizona immigration law" on Facebook. State rights vs Government rights. and the court battle that is to follow this month. There is a great Story on the Cost of Immigration on the site now. As well you may want to notice how the number of immigrants change with the story. For example.. in 2005 it was accepted we had nearly 22 million illegals and they cost us about 400 billion a year. , Now, Obama is saying we only have 11 million and they cost almost nothing as he gets ready to pass his immigration "REFORM". Is he just trying to sell this by fudging the numbers making them smaller. And If he is right on the numbers..that means 11 million have left..and his argument is "We can't deport the 11 million people left"
