Android as a software for PCs ?

I was at an electronic store and I saw a laptop with a weird software.
it looked like ubuntu but the the tablet said android 2.2
So i wonder if i can download it for my acer and if their is a latest version of it out ?

Someone has a program out there that has the name android attached to it

Happens all the time with boot leg programs

They want the public think it is something else
.
And it is not against the law as long as the the clone of the real McCoy

Tablets and Smart Phones (With the exception of the iPhone) run Android.

If you saw a Laptop with Android on it, it is a modded/hacked version, definitely not legit.
