I'm naive about phones, but I had a little crash course from the guy who works at my cell phone provider the other night.

From what I understand, iPhones are basically connected with iTunes and you can download all their cool apps with it. Android is Google's version of the same thing, only you would download the apps from Google instead. He said both have most of the exact same apps, and Android just recently passed up iPhone for amount of apps they have.

He steered me away from Blackberry, which I showed interest in, because he said in so many words that it's becoming passe. The big thing now is apps.

So..... which do you recommend and why?
I got a text that I'm eligible for a free upgrade, that's why I went over there to talk to somebody.
(I know now that "free" upgrade just means I'm eligible for a free crap phone, not a smart phone. :-))

Thanks, guys.

According to me the Android phones are best smartphones because It supports the many new best application. It is very easy to use in android phone. It is a very popular android operating system. I have already using android phone. I recommend you should go for android phone.

i have an iPhone 4s, and its a thing of beauty.... i have like 100 apps and its so easy with siri...... you just talk and the phone does all the hard work for you. You can make a text message by talking and siri writes it out for you :D

It hasnt let me down and it probably wont.... but the only thing wrong with it is the battery like with the android..... its always on charge so you might as well call it a land line :P
