i have a g1 but im bought a cliq xt on ebay i dont have a data plan and ppl keep saying cliq xt is getting a upgrade to 2.1 or so...since i dont have a data plan would i be able to get this upgrade? i do have access to wifi like all day and i keep it on all day... i have a friend with a data plan and thats how im going to activate my new phone coming in the mail..so basically im saying if and when the update comes out will i be able to get it on my motorola cliq xt using wifi or soething like that?
