...cards, Laptop, ipod, Blackberry? someone tailed me all the way to my locker and broke it. My SUV keys were in it and he sped off from a well known Fitness club. They have video cameras that get the front pose of people coming and going out. It was a Slack time and the manager after reviewing the tapes said that only 5 people left from the time I last saw that locker intact .
He could however NOT ID a single one of these men. I think he is lying.
However I had a credit card trace from at least 4 other locations of my CC being abused within 7-8 hrs of my vehicle theft . Two of these gas stations already told me that video tapes are available But only cops can have them not me.
I still have to trace the other 2 places where they were abused.
PLUS my car tags are OUT of State. This is in CA. Tags from TX.
does someone have any idea about any other methods I can use to get more info AND
MOST IMP ..given all this info ...WHAT ARE THE ODDS THAT COPS WITH AVG OR BELOW AVG BRAINS ( Because so far for 3-4 days have passed the investigator in charge of the case hasn't bothered to even contact me and reportedly is on leave ) CAN SOLVE THIS FAST ? I am too freaked out with this . .....and almost fainted at the first sight of suv gone from my parking lot.
this happened in hayward, castro valley, San Leandro area
thanks You Sirs.
I only have liability insurance . It was a 95 year SUV so did not increase the coverage.
My only ray of hope is , that the 3-4 videos @ different places, could help zero the culprit and make the arrest

Once the vehicle description, VIN, and license info is entered into the system, the car will probably be found. Depending on make/model it may have been stripped and parted out. Your stuff will most likely be gone, and was before the credit card was first used. Health clubs are common targets for car thieves, because they're so easy and bad guys are typically lazy.
It takes time for Technical Investigations to pull stills from some video surveillance systems, and get them enhanced and ID'd. Be as patient as possible, but count your 'stuff' as gone...

The chances of getting your vehicle back are about 70%. All your stuff will more than likely be gone and the vehicle may be damaged and/or stripped.
Sorry, not good news. Hope you have good insurance....
