Well I finally got a gun to keep myself safe from coyotes and mountain lions in case I ever need it. Anybody here ever have to use their gun on an animal in a situation of self defense?
Any tips for shooting animals in the woods? I guess it's probably the same as anywhere else maybe you have to be careful about aiming though because of all the tress and whatnot.
Also for anyone critical of guns, I'd definitely rather have a gun than bear spray when faced with a predatorial animal. Thanks.
Also of course, got to have gun safety on when not in use.
Also I wonder if anyone knows - do people get wary if they hear gunshots in the woods or would they assume it is someone hunting? I wonder if someone would call the cops cause they heard shots fired, but personally I would only use it to defend myself against animals in the woods.
