Any training ideas to greet dogs?

I adopted an american pitbbull terrier, Chloe and she is a sweetheart, gets along and loves to play with other dogs and is great with children. When i brought her home she is not being accepted by my other dog, Char. (who is a small white mutt) It is the first night so im hoping char will learn to live with Chloe. She does not attack chloe but she barks and charges. And chloe is very submissive but i do not want her to be skidish or get the wrong idea. Basically is there any training tips or ideas that i can use to get them better aquainted?

This has happened to me twice... Char is really just used to being the only dog...When u get a new dog it kind of makes her feel left out or replaced.Just give time and pay equal attention to both Chloe and Char.
