Any WoW Warlock players here? Newbie question.=]?

Hello, i am new to warcraft and i was thinking of becoming a demonology warlock. The problem is, how do i make the target attack my pet and not me? I make my pet attack it first, but whenever i attack it, the target always starts attacking me instead. How can i stop this?

You are pulling too much aggro from your target.
Avoid attacking your target as soon as you enter combat, let your pet do the work for a bit to let its aggro get up. If there are any buffs you can give your pet, whether it be spells or from the talent tree itself, to increase the aggro it recieves when it attacks by all means use them.
Also when you get to level 10 use your Voidwalker constantly! Do not switch until level 50ish, or whenever your get a better pet. A voidwalker acts as a tank making it easier for you to level and to keep your enemies off you as it has a lot more health and can get a lot more aggro.
