Hi I have a 598u modem which I just upgraded to which I have already activated and use on my vista laptop and it works fine. However I would like to know how to get it to run on my other laptop which now has Ubuntu -latest version out - I have been told it can be done. And my previous sprint modem I did have running on a linux based netbook - that time I got it to run all by myself after reading a few fourms I had found on the net. I just followed their directions on how to update its kernal what to do and no problem it worked great, but I can't seem to find anyone who knows an easy way to find out how to set this new one up. I have tried the instructions on the sprint website and tried the seirra website too. Does anybody know a idiot proof way? if I just knew exactly what to type and exactly what drivers I needed to download and transfer to it and how to install them. I have worked with my other linux based computer before but only know enough to be dangerous...lol
