okay so i have this phone-its verizon- and i was wondering if anybody knew why i can't save sounds anymore?? my friends will send me ringtones and either i can't save them or i can set them as my ringtone and when someone calls theres no sound.. MEHH it really bugs me

does it have anything to do with the fact that verison isnt leting sites send free ringtones to verison phones anymore??

anyways if someone knows anyhting please..help!
 
I have one, and it is the new version they but in the phone same as the newer razr. it sucks i know, but you can hack the phone. just google it.
 
make sure that when u want to set it as ur ringtone the sound is on because that's what happened to me.

but if that doesnt help
maybe if u dropped it in water or u drop it alot it got messed up??.

its a virus, you have to wipe the whole database of the phone or just buy a new one, sorry but this is the only way to get rid of motherboard viruses like the trojan your describing :(
 
It's because you either did a manual or automatic software update and it wiped out that ability. Verizon doesn't want you to have free ringtones because than you won't buy their overpriced ones. Sucks I know, their a whorish corporate monopoly. That's kinda why I quit and now work for T-Mobile. :)
