THANK YOU!!!!!! The Twilight series is ABSOLUTE CRAP! Anyone who actually thinks this is good literature should be the ones who are hunted down and tortured. Try reading something with actual substance! The story line was pathetic. Stephanie Mayer used the same words over and over and over. WE GET THAT EDWARD IS GORGEOUS STOP BLOODY EXPLAINING IT TO US! And have you ever noticed that Bella and Edward actually don't LOVE each other. it blood lust you idiots! Tell me where they ever sit down and actually have a SERIOUS conversation you would have with a significant other. THIS ENTIRE SERIES SHOULD BE BURNED. And again, whomever believes that this series is actual literature genius, than you are a moron and should go back to elementary English basics. These books are despicable. And i can say this because i actually wasted my time and read all of them. Which i can literally read the entire series in a day. Because her vocabulary is the same throughout the book, its basic, and the story line is so pathetic and never goes anywhere. Oh and one more thing. REAL VAMPIRES DON'T SPARKLE.

In the End I would rather pry up my fingernails with a rusty butter knife than read those books again.

I completely DISAGREE I loved the book Twilight and the rest of the seires. I have been watching the trailer FOREVER intil the movie came out. Edward should be cuter but um..yea I believe that you guys are total MORONS!!! It's the best and I'm dieing to watch the movie...k? Whatever I read I am totally in love with it. It's like saying Harry Potter is a total crap k?

I agree so much. My friends pushed the book on me, so I read them..UG. This book was terrible. Everything was so predictable, so perfect. The writing sucked, and everything came true for Bella's wishes..grr.. Plus, it's so unrealistic. I mean, come on!! If a human girl saw a vampire, they would freak out! Not say, oh let's make out! I mean, come on!

Of course my friends hate me for this. I tried I really did. Plus, I read all four books. Fourth one was a bit better, less predictable, but still. Why does everyone love this book, when it's just like someone with absolutely no writing skills decided to write a perfect vampire love story!!!!!!

Ok rant over. For now. I just don't see why anyone would love it so much!!
((ps..Harry Potter was written way better, I mean wayyyyyy better! not my favorite book, but just so ppl stop comparing twilight and harry potter..yeah.))

i read the book i am on breaking dawn (i am probably going to stop reading it cause it making me insanely bored) i dont think it s the greatest book ever its just a book i have read better... way better as you probably kno the movie came out today and theres like a billion chicks wearing shirts how retarded are they? i mean seriously these girls that get upsessed are like a cult. and now guys are reading it, wow can they be any more gay.

Spare me about the TwilightGroupies. I suggested (jokingly) that Edward 'GARY-STU' Cullen and Jacob 'WolfyMcWolfster' Black were secret lovers and I got mauled. The TwilightGroupies are rabid. I should know- they're the main cult in my school. Damn Twilight- ruined Hot Topic..... >.< Unforgivable.

I hope this Saga will end soon. Girls in my classroom are going crazy over that Edward Cullen character. I was trying to put reminders of assignments to be passed next week when they got mad because I erased their graffiti written "EDWARD IS LOVE". Oh come on man. That's not cool.

thanks lena, i agree with hating twilight. Ok but i have a logical reason besides hating the story itself before anyone gets on me about hating it. my previous ex-girlfriend is still obsessed with the serious.and for about a month before she broke up with me all she did was read those damn books. she never payed any attention too my phone calls it was always, "i cant talk i reading Twilight." It tore me to shreads and ever since i have snarled every single time i hear the name of the book and hate seeing and earing it EVERYWHERE i go!!! its so reatarded that girls are now pretending to be vampires including my ex and every one of them sickens me. Yeah i'm a guy and i probably don't understand the beauty of being saved by a gorgeous vampire boy and falling in love but i gave my reason for hating this demon-spawn book so THERE!!!

Everything about Twilight and the rest of the series is awful.
It is rock bottom, as one of my friends said.
It is a black hole, somewhere far out into the universe and once you get sucked in, there's no coming out, as I say.
I hate the books, and the movie with a passion. Every time I hear 'Twilight', I twitch and get incredibly angered. My friends and I are pretty much the anti-Twilight; all of us hate it, we bash it and we mock the Edward Cullen and Jacob Black fans.
Anyway, I actually might see the movie? Why? So I can make rude comments throughout the whole thing, and be ovrly dramatic about it. But, when I think about going to see it, I get even agrier because Twilight replace Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which, according to the three trailers, looks amazing compared to Order of the Pheonix.

I hate Twilight.
Simple as that
I will one day burn the books.
And I'll laugh.

Twilight was the most moronic thing ever. It's meant for little 15 year old girls who think that a "prince charming" is going to come along and sweep them off their feet. Well, life's not like that. i felt sorry for the poor sap who was at the theatre with his girlfriend, and throughout the entire movie (previews) and after the movie, she carried on about how amazing it was, how much she loved this edward cullings kid, and how much she was in love with him. Her bf looked kinda pissed that she completely ignored him and ran around screaming that she was in love with edward cullings. well FEK that. this dumbass movie and the books just set unrealistic standards, and girls are dissapointed by guys who just don't live up to that crap. Good luck finding somebody, ladies.

I agree: I hated this book. I had a friend that absolutely raved about it, and hey, it was about a vampire. I figured it had to be good. I could barely finish the first book! First they fall in love because she SMELLS good? And she immediately reciprocates, because he's so hot? In real life Edward Cullen is a stalker: he follows her around, watches her as she sleeps, thinks of nothing but her, and if he ever loses it could snap her neck. Bella is a damsel in distress, of no use except to be rescued on a regular basis. Besides the fact neither character has any interesting (or realistic) flaws, there is absolutely no equity in their relationship. What does this teach young girls? That they should want a guy perfect in every way to rescue them? Because that is not reality. A. Guys can't be perfect (though I have no problem with you thinking your guy is.) B. They shouldn't have to be perfect! Guys, if you ever find a girl who expects you to be her Prince Charming, run away. Fast. Because you deserve a girl who is interesting standing by herself, not just when she is leached onto you.
I really don't have a problem with people who like this book. I like a good, romantic story that is as healthy as a 6-layer chocolate cake, too. But I still can't understand how popular this book is, I wouldn't even call it literature. I just hope it dies away like a fad...FAST.

My friends pester and pester me about this damn book, lucky for them I like them too much as to lose them as my friends over some piece of shit book. I read it, for them, and it was stupid. The movie, however good it may be for those air-headed Twilight lovers, is something I refuse to see. I can't believe it made so much, I'm quite pissed at how famous it is. Something worth watching:

Iron Man
Tropic Thunder
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

and more...those are three movies I recently saw, and they are the best I've ever seen. Especially Tropic Thunder, the funniest, greatest movie ever made with a flawless performance from Downey Jr. and brilliant directing from Ben Stiller.

Everywhere I go there is someone talking abt this stupid book and how gooooooooood it is and how it changed their whole view on life, how its THE BEST EVER, i read it 2...I HATED IT!!! edward got all the more annoying every time he saved bella. wayyyyyy toooo predictable. nd no offense, but meyer is not a very good writer. there are these girls in my class that OBBESS ovr twilight. everything you say in their mind relates 2 it. ill b talking to my frends and theyll say NO WAY! that happnd on page 114 of new moon to bella while she was sitting on the couch right b4 jacob and edward...blaaaa blaaaaa BLA. it is so annoying. nd they always talk abt how edward is going 2 SAVE US ALL! nd how hes SUCH A HUNK ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. im so tird of it. my writing teacher even has posters in her room of edward nd his creepy face, i vowed to rip them up but my teacher got mad. This other girl who is just as obbessed annoys me most of all. my eyes are a hazel color, but sometimes i wake up nd they are RELLY golden. then that girl will follow me around school all day going ," YOU HAVE EDWARDS EYES!!!!!" then she goes on and on saying abt how i should visit hisgoldeneyes.com or something like that. if i did ever go to that website, i would probaly peuk. 13-14 year old girls that want to marry edward and cry every night abt his freakin magnificance...GET A LIFE, BABE. I'm a 14 year old girl and guess what, I HATE TWILIGHT! OMG it sucks! I finished all the books, because I feel that's the only fair way to insult or compliment a book. It's so cliche! A girl falls for a vampire, oh how original. Jeesh, lets get a hold on ourselves people, the book was awful. And from what I've heard, the movie was terrible too.

I can't help but notice that most of the "Twilight Lovers" on here talk with 3rd grade grammar and chtspeak lyk nu uder. On the contrary, most of the haters have fine grammar and seem to put a lot of thought into their reasons to dislike Twilight.

Dark romance? What's so dark about it? Oh my gosh, he sparkles in the sunlight, it's so bloody dark! Not to mention it's so cheesy. I don't remember the exact quote, but Edward asked Bella what her favorite stone was, and she said something along the lines of "Onyx because that's the color of your eyes". Lah de dah, I'd better go and find someone with orange eyes because that is my favorite color!

There doesn't seem to be any real attraction from Bella to Edward minus that of physical attraction. She smells nice, this is love! Gals, slap on some perfume and go find your perfect man today!

Edward is over 100 years old, too, and is in love with this 17 year old girl. I'm sure Bella would completely flip out if Edward had not been preserved as his perfect self and instead was wrinkled and had himself some liver spots. She'd probably consider him a stalker, a creeper, and would surely not love him! I would have much rather Edward to have not been over 100 but had actually been a 17 year old. Because... well... that's gross...

Bella wants to throw her entire life away to be with Edward. Bite me, literally! I want to live with you forever. Cough, cough, ummm, what?

What really sickens me is the fangirls! People walking around with Twilight t-shirts, pictures, everything! I have told people that vampires were not real and I got about the dirtiest look possible. I, honestly, thought I was going to get mauled right there and there was such an awkward silence, before the girl turned and stormed off. Not joking! I was horrified. Was Twilight really taking the place of great works of Jane Austin, Charles Dickens, Williams Shakespear, must I go on?

I think that half of the rage is people who are afraid their friends will turn on them if they say they hate it. Have you seen the way some of these girls are? Twilight is becoming a lifestyle... Soon it will be "There are the Jocks, there are the cool kids, oh and there are the Twilight lovers!" People are rejecting people who don't live, eat, and breathe Twilight.

If this is what our future is coming to, future generations will be reading "Green Eggs and Ham" which will be labeled as fine reading. Forget Twilight, their minds won't be able to process the first chapter! So sad, I'm glad there are people out there who still have a mind of their own.

I read Twilight. I hate it with all my mind, body and soul. It's fine if other people want to love it and fangirl over Edward Cullen, but seriously, it's getting (well, it already is) ridiculas.
Part of the reason of my strong dislike of this book (aside from the poor writing, predictable characters etc), is the fact that it has become so popular that brilliant works of writing is over looking by the fangirling masses.
