Anyone else notice how the number of answers is low when discussing battered men &

high for abused women? Women always seem to have a ton of answers on the subject of battered women, but when you asked about battered men they become silent. Why is that?

I'd say because the people that come to GWS are more likely to answer both, However when it pops up on the main page of Y!A only the questions for abused woman will get answered, because people don't really believe that a female could abuse a male.

Because battered women topic is more controversial. And let's face it, girls are raised to believe it only happens to women, and for it happening to men is beyond them.

Men are second class citizens these days. Women use very chance they can get to have a shot at us. In my country (Australia) they get preferential treatment in government employment, education, legal system, health system, welfare system etc.

But all you ever hear is how they are disadvantaged women are and how men keep them down.

The reality is that men don’t have rights, just responsibilities.

Men naturally have more pride than woman. They don't want to admit it when they have been abused by a woman. However, the lack of response from men may also be due to the fact that more women than men have been abused, so there would be less battered men to respond.

You will notice the most accurately well worded posts that speak negatively of women are greeted by the sounds of <cricket, cricket> by most women....they only jump in when somebody is being tongue-in-cheek to make a valid point, or when there is a spelling mistake they can jump all over, in hopes of distracting from the question at hand

Because a majority of women at a subconscious level are bigoted towards men, notice how a good many of the women who responded to your question distorted the question, flipped it around or ignored it.

It is a big joke here. Their are feminist women and anti feminist women here. There is not much of a difference between the feminist's and traditionalists in relation to men(it is not entirely black and white though there are some very wise men and women here who do support common sense and general equality/equity). Both support male dehumanization and both support male enslavement. The only difference is the feminist's want to lead and the traditionalists want to stay at home.
