Dont know if this counts, but if you count your fingers throughout the day (like once every hour) then it becomes almost like habit and in your dreams you will instinctively do that, causing you to be aware that you are dreaming. From that point you can control your dreams and change them however you want (Lucid Dreaming). It takes lots of practice, but the results are mind blowing. A very inception kind of feel
