anyone have any good suggestions for trucks?

im looking at the dodge dakota, the GMC canyon and the toyota tacoma, or the ford explorer. any opinions or other suggestions? im not looking for a massive truck, but one that is a 4 door

My personal requirement is that the bed has to hold a 4X8 sheet of something.
Short beds ain't worth diddlysquat, may as well buy a car with a lockable trunk.

Depends on what you need the truck to do...................

Your details suggest you're just looking for a 4WD that can carry 3-4 people comfortably. If that's the case, I'd rather have a pickup in the snow, so take the Explorer and most other SUVs off your list.

I would take the Canyon off the list as well. The Canyon/Colorado isn't one of GM's better products. Consider an S-10 Crew Cab or a Frontier Crew Cab too.
