I live in North Carolina and I have fallen in love with how the late 70s/80s Fiat Spider looks.
I'd really like to get one but I am afraid there would be nowhere to repair it. (the one I want is 14 hrs away from where I live) I'm a complete "noob" when it comes to cars, so I'd need to find a classic car mechanic or something. Just wondering if anyone knows a place in North Carolina that could do maintenance.
Is this a bad idea? How costly do you think it would be? and is it possible for me to learn how to do basic repairs through the manuals? ( I know they are downloadable online)
I know I probably shouldn't get it, but part of me thinks it is worth a try.
Thanks
