Anyone using verizon wireless broadband for mobile internet with their laptop?

I am going to buy me a Toshiba laptop. I want to get broadband from verizon wireless. But I don't know how it is done. Do they install some device into my computer internally? Or is it something external? Does the broadband work well? I need plenty of info.

My father bought one for his laptop about a year ago. It is an thin and long external card that you plug into your laptop if you want internet. The internet was usable, but it was very slow in our area. He no longer uses it because he uses my wifi while at home.

Yes' you will install the driver of the device which what you are telling but it is better to ge a broadband deal if you want my advice it is up on you
