towards creating poetry? I'm taking a memoir class, and started out writing the story, but right after the first paragraph, the rest of it turned out to be very intense poetic writing. So nevertheless, even though, when it came time for mine to be critiqued in class [non-credit class/college], everyone loved my description, although of course I haven't yet edited it to write a vignette on the characters. *Sigh*~I am re-thinking all my efforts for this and just starting over for a different memoir. It's hard to hold off on creative "tangents" when it just feels so strongly within like that. Anyone else experience this in some way or another? thanx!
