Are Christian's against "Gays"?

TRUE Christians are, because the Bible, which Christians base their beliefs on, condemns homosexuality. As 1 Cor. 6:9, 10 (TEV) says: "Do not fool yourselves; people who are immoral or who worship idols or are adulterers or HOMOSEXUAL PERVERTS or who steal or are greedy or are drunkards or who slander others or are thieves--none of these will possess God's Kingdom."
 
Speaking Christian to Christian, I can honestly say I dont personally like the act of it, but I dont hate on people that choose that lifestyle. Most of those people are friends of mine. I accept them for their personality and heart. Regardless of what they do, they are still people with feelings. They get cut, they bleed red blood like everyone else.

By the way, who are we to judge? Theres only one person that can judge and its God.

christans in the most general way are indeed against gays. but i know many christans that couldn't care less and have gays that are their friends. personaly i think that christans should reserve judgement because it's gods place to sort out in the end and a lot of religon has been tainted with humanity.
 
Some, yes. Some, no.

However, there are many different types of cliques that are, unfortunately, "against" gays.

it depends, i'm a catholic and i know that catholosism isnt agains homosexuality, its just against any sex not meant for procreation. sex between two men or two women fall under this category, so it is not right. but its ok for someone to be gay or be in a gay relationship or have a gay lifestyle, they just shouldnt have gay sex, thats all. besides, Jesus was friends with a prostitute. we are supposed to learn from him to be a friend to everyone, at least thats how i always saw it. and plus, we all sin. so even if it was a sin for a guy to be attracted to another guy, which its not- we have to remember that we all proabbly use the Lord's name in vain or tell a white lie on a daily basis unfortunately, so we are in no place to judge.

I personally am agnostic, but to call a sin... treating gays like they shouldn't exist? What kind of person would you be then?

The bible I don't get.
It tells you HOMOSEXUALITY is bad..
Then it says to love everyone, like Jesus and God do...
 
Many are not. There are a few Biblical references against homosexuality, but many Christians understand that something like that must be interpreted as reflecting a cultural viewpoint from the time during which the text was written.

Also, Jesus himself said that prostitutes and homosexuals would enter the kingdom of heaven before the proud and hyprocritical religious. Therefore, it would appear that Jesus confirms that homosexuals can enter the kingdom of heaven.

People are who they are because that is the way God made them. Are people to be blamed or condemned just for being who they are? Of course not.
 
some are, and some aren't. the Church of England, Lutheran Church, United Church of Christ, and MCC are gay welcoming churches. Far as I know, the United Methodists are becoming more open. I heard the Methodists recognize gay partnerships for lay, but not clergy persons. Roman Catholics say people are born that way, but are still encouraged by the church to practice chasity, but many Catholics are openly gay. They don't condemn it as a major sin anymore, but you still can't recieve the sacrament without reconciliation. I see the RCC moving more toward accepting it.
 
NO, smart christians are not anyways, any person with a brain larger than a peanut would realise that people are born gay they dont choose it.
