Are Fishes better than Dogs?

Fish really don't take up any of your time or need much but fed and a clean tank but, seriously, there's no companionship there. I'd prefer a dog. Can't take a fish on a walk....Guess you could try.

Well you see i came up with this because someone in my class (a girl) has a fish and I dont have a dog but i do alot of researches about them, though i dont do any on fishes but I already know them, I said dogs are better than fishes. She said that i was wrong fishes are better I said why and she said Because dogs wake you up at night.(She only gave 1 reason) I said that it depends if its a trained dog, and obvously they need sleep!!! i also said they can also alert u if there is danger.

No, dogs are better because they can guard you and are helpful to the blind.
Fish are slimey and disgusting and I hate them. Useless, unless your starving.

Is she for real? I have both fishes and dogs, and my dogs are much more loyal than the fish are. I had a fish that loved to be petted, but that was a one time deal. My fish are only concerned if I feed them and clean their tanks. My dogs need to be walked, fed, watered, taken outside, taken to the vet at least once a year, basically loved in order to be happy.

That's what it comes down to. Dogs know if you love 'em. Fish don't. I've also never heard of a fish saving a boy from a well. ;)

no! lol they dirty up your tank by pooing alot and peeing or something. You have to change teh water every few weeks and its a real workout when you have to (annoying). And on top of that, they aren't great. They are relaxing to look at but dogs offer you fun and something you can talk gibberish to lol. How can you feel close to your fish??
