Are Honda 4 Cylinder Transmission's relialbe? On the Accord?

I want to buy an Accord But I am afraid of Transmission problems. I heard that 6 Cylinder transmisssions had a whole bunch problems.

However, I am looking for a 4 cylinder model, do these have problems too? 1994-2002?

The tranmission in genral is very well built. What you need to look for is was it mantained? If an auto trans, was the oil and filter changed out at least every 20k miles or manual every 50k. Does it shift hard? Is there any leaking? Is it hanging up between gears? These are some of the thing to look at on any used cars transmission. Good luck
