Are left handed people really more artistic/creative than right handers or

is that just unproven rumor? Is there a study or survey that shows left handers are more creative, than right handers? Does it seem that more people are left handed now than say 10 years ago?
P.S. I am left handed.
 
i think its like a old wives tale... having said that, it could be linked to the brain function- some ppl are left brained, others right (both have diff characteristics).. but i dont think it really comes down to which hand u write with. i know equally creative ppl who write with either hand.
